I attended Xavier High School in Appleton, Wisconsin where I graduated with honors. I then attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Honors, majoring in Political Science and History. After finishing college, I worked as a paralegal and law clerk for the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. while attending law school in the Evening Division at The Catholic University of America - Columbus School of Law.
I am a member of State Bar of Wisconsin, the Outagamie County Bar Association, the Wisconsin Association of Worker's Compensation Attorneys, and the Wisconsin Defense Counsel.
In 2017, I received a “Distinguished” Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell for ethics and legal ability. In 2006, and 2010-2012, I was recognized by my peers and by the publication, Wisconsin Super Lawyers, as one of the top young lawyers in Wisconsin. Also in 2008, I was listed in Cambridge's Who's Who Among Executives and Professionals registry.
