Today marks 12 years since I opened the doors of the Law Office of Peter J. Carman, S.C. as a solo practice.
From day one, the mission has been straightforward: stand up for injured people in Wisconsin in workers’ compensation and personal injury cases, and fight to secure full, fair compensation when insurers delay, deny, or underpay valid claims.
In those 12 years, I’ve kept the model simple on purpose:
- You work directly with me, not a revolving cast of case managers.
- I limit the number of files so I can actually dig into the medicine, the records, and the law on every case.
- I use the experience I gained defending insurers to anticipate their tactics and push back hard when they’re wrong.
I’m proud of the results we’ve achieved for clients, including multi-million and high six-figure outcomes in serious crash, traumatic brain injury, and complex work comp cases. I’m also grateful for the recognition from peers through Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers, Martindale-Hubbell, and other organizations along the way.
But what matters most to me is what clients say: that they felt heard, treated like a person and not a file number, kept informed, and able to focus on healing while I carried the legal fight and went toe-to-toe with insurers for them.
To every client who has trusted me during some of the hardest seasons of their life, and to everyone who has referred a case or worked with me over these 12 years—thank you.
Here’s to year 13 of “Your Case. My Cause.” and continuing to fight for injured workers and accident victims across Wisconsin.
